Automotive Technician: Level A
- Diagnose and repair brake and steering systems
- Navigate service repair information and all applicable diagrams, specifications, TSBs
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems
- Replace or repair transmissions, engines, and fuel components as needed
- Diagnose and repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling
- Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and in depth purchase inspections
- Diagnose and repair driveability concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed
- Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives
Automotive Technician: Level B
- Perform in depth mechanical or electrical repairs with assistance
- Perform unassisted general maintenance and repair of all vehicle systems
- Diagnose brake and suspension concerns and noises
- Navigate service repair information to assist with required repairs
- Relay important maintenance recommendations or concerns to service advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed
- Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives
Service Advisor Assistant
- Greet and interact with customers
- Listen to description of auto problems
- Relay auto problems to team members
- Enter customer information into database
- Track job progress
- Communicate work estimates to customer
- Complete payment transactions
- Inventory parts
- Maintain vehicle quality control
